About the Directors

David Toll is the Director of Total Sports Business Consultancy P/L. David has held senior positions within the sporting industry in Victoria, NSW and Western Australia. In his most recent role as the Executive Director of Swimming WA, David created exciting new business streams which resulted in positive cash flow for the business, and built an acclaimed structure within the business. This was recognised when Swimming WA was awarded the sporting business with the most outstanding corporate governance structure in Western Australia in 2009. David was also awarded an Emerging Leadership Scholarship from the WA Department of Sport and Recreation in the same year.

Throughout his career in sport, David realised that most sporting organisations suffer the same frustrations: they are time poor, have limited cash flow, rely heavily on government for funding and support, have excessive reliance on volunteers, and despite the best intentions of Boards and committees, are hurting themselves by not running effective businesses. Total Sports Business Consultancy evolved in an effort to address these common frustrations and limitations. Its vision is to create a one stop shop for any sporting organisation to access friendly, qualified, knowledgeable and experienced people from within the sporting industry who can help with any issue or problem. TSBC provides a consultancy run by people from sport for people working in sport.
